There is a unified sense in our church membership and our leadership that a new three year campaign called, “C2: Connecting To...” is the next step to see the DREAM BECOME A REALITY. We would like to point out several key factors regarding the decision to move forward with C2:
The leadership of CT believes with our whole hearts that God has called us to build a new worship center that will serve this church for generations to come. We know this project is doable and with God’s favor we will break ground soon. The project will be about $15 million. We believe that with what we have in hand from our first campaign, Chapter 2, and with our new three year campaign called “C2: Connecting To..” that we can pay off this new worship center in a reasonable amount of time.
We are asking that you prayerfully consider what your three-year financial commitment will be to this project. How should you come to this decision? Here are some simple steps that I am asking all of us to take:
Re-surrender everything to God. We must understand that everything belongs to the Lord and that we are only managers of what He has given to us.
Listen to the voice of God and see what He might be asking you to do for C2.
Be obedient and be faithful to what He speaks to your heart. Step out in faith and watch God work in your life.
Expect God to do a miracle at Calvary Temple over the next several years.
We must whole-heartedly pursue the vision and mission that God has placed upon Calvary Temple. Please watch the virtual tour that can be viewed above or pick up the C2 information CD available in the church foyer. We think you are going to be overwhelmed to see what an amazing facility it is going to be for the Kingdom of God. It will feature:
State of the art worship center will seat approximately 1,800 people
4,500 square foot nursery/early childhood wing
New children’s and student ministry center
Large foyer equipped with a cafe´ and plenty of space for people to connect
New classrooms and more...
This facility will allow us to expand our ministry with the idea that God wants us to grow and reach thousands more in the East Bay. It has never been about a building. It has always been about people! Our heart is to see the Kingdom of God grow by reaching people who do not know Jesus.
We are excited about the great challenge and even greater opportunity that is before us all. It is because of God’s faithfulness that we are poised for a God-sized miracle. As David says in 1 Chronicles 29:1, “...the task is great.” We can only accomplish this God-sized project as we work together and as the Holy Spirit empowers us. Please join with us as we pray, give and trust God like never before.
